Those of you lucky enough to live in Brisbane will soon be able to knock back a few drinks while playing the latest video games. The Mana Bar will be the first licensed venue to offer gaming as a key attraction.
Due to gamer's hand eye coordination and reflexes now bordering on the levels of Skynet and a Matrix fueled Neo, a new term is being pushed forward to properly describe them.
'Gamer/Online Gamer' to be replaced with 'Athlete/Cyber Athlete'.

Adelaide is set to welcome in 2010 with one of Australia’s largest computer and console gaming events. Reloaded 2010, in conjunction with major partners, Valhalla LAN Parties and AVCon are pleased to present the 5th installment of the highly successful Reloaded series of events.
Promising more games for more gamers, Reloaded 5 will hand out more than $100,000.00 in cash and prizes to more than 1000 attendees, featuring games such as Microsoft's Halo 3, Valve's Counterstrike Source, and Blizzards Warcraft III. The anime community will be represented with AVCon running anime screenings, console free play and a return of AVCon 2009's Super Serious Business.
