Pokemon format is not yet absolutely set in stone - consult the Pokemon thread on the forums for some of the details.

These are the definites:
- Double battle
- 6 pokes a side
- Species clause
- Sleep clause (As much as can be applied on whatever we're running it on)
- Freeze clause (As much as can be applied on whatever we're running it on)
- Selfdestruct clause
- No level limit of any sort
- Ubers list is the Smogon ubers list, excepting Wobbuffet and Wynaut. These pokemon are banned. Additionally, the various Rotom formes do not work in Pokemon Battle Revolution, and there will be some Pokemon Battle Revolution, so Rotom formes are banned. To be clear, the following pokemon are banned:
Arceus, Darkrai, Deoxys, Deoxys-A, Deoxys-D, Deoxys-S, Dialga, Garchomp, Giratina, Giratina-O, Groudon, Ho-oh, Kyogre, Latios, Lugia, Manaphy, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Rotom-C, Rotom-F, Rotom-H, Rotom-S, Rotom-W, Shaymin-S.

The maybes basically centre around whether we run a single-elimination tournament on Pokemon Battle Revolution or a Swiss-style tournament mostly on DSes. At the moment, I believe we're leaning mostly towards a Swiss-style tournament on DSes, with some provision for avoiding mismatched levels. But if you want the absolute best chance, you should get your entire team to level 100, or as close as you can manage.

Last year they held both Soul Calibur 4 and Tekken 5 DR, so I don't think Tekken replaced Soul Calibur, at least so I hope. I'm sure they will announce Soul Calibur 4 tournament soon, but I'm still a bit skeptical about entering it this year since a 7 year old kid won last year.

Is it too late for tournament requests? I was thinking of Ultimate Gaming Team, kinda like Ultimate Gamer but with a team. I guess it'll take too long to finish though.

You know...soccer players wear socks.
So, to pull them up is just what soccer players do.
"Pull up your socks" is also an Australianism a coach might use to his players, saying "You're playing like pansies, pull your socks up and play some real football, you bunch of soft ninnes". It means something like clean up your act, look presentable, play properly, etc. I don't think that's the meaning in this context, though.
