After an epic space battle, Team AVCon has secured the University of Adelaide for AVCon 2008 on July 26-27th!

As I type this our commanders are preparing the mighty convention fleet, soon to announce details for all your favourites be they videogames, anime, events or vendors.

In the meantime AVCon requires dedicated men and women for service in the AVCon volunteer Space Force! Known for insanely dedicated members and awesome parties we need your help to run AVCon. Remember; Service guarantees citizenship!

Volunteer!

AVCon is coming, and we need soldiers!

Preparations are well underway on the mighty convention invasion fleet, but we still require dedicated men and women for service in the Space Force! If you are a motivated, hard working and enthusiastic individual, we need you!

The AVCon Space Force consists entirely of volunteers, so sign up today! Remember; Service gaurantees Citizenship!

Want to know more?

To volunteer for AVCon 2008 you must:
- be over 16 years of age as at June 1st, 2008.
- attend at least one Volunteer workshop, unless other arrangements are made with the volunteer coordinator
- attend a briefing session on every day which you have a scheduled shift
- attend shift which are assigned to you
- be polite and helpful to all staff and attendees at AVCon
- treat all AVCon and AVCon Staff property with the utmost respect
- follow the directions of the AVCon Committee
- refer all questions from Sponsors and Press to the AVCon Committee
- abide by the AVCon Code of Conduct
