Thank you to everyone who came to AVCon@OzAsia! In total 550 people came to partake of a relaxed, intimate atmosphered AVCon event.

We'd like to thank our sponsors for their awesome assistance: Shin Tokyo and Gametraders Marion for helping out with prizes, and Madman and Siren Visual for the anime screenings!

Thanks to the Adelaide Festival Centre for letting us come on in and geek up the place, and the organisers of OzAsia for asking us to be involved.

Congratulations to Joshua Mayne!

Congratulations to Joshua Mayne who is the winner of our Win A DVD Pack competition! There was an epic voting battle between Joshua, Samantha and Luke at the meeting tonight, however Joshua's contagious grin won out in the end!


This will be my first ever visit to AVCon. So I'm Mainly looking forward to trying a bit of everything. Sumo suit to handheld games, Samurai 7 to Super Smash Bros Brawl. Apparently theres hundreds of costumes as well. Can't wait!
