What is AVCon?

AVCon is Adelaide's local Anime and Videogames Convention.

It is a weekend-long annual event showcasing the latest and greatest in anime and videogames products and insider industry information.

When is AVCon?

AVCon is held in late July; commencing with a launch party on the Friday.

With the main event held over the Saturday and Sunday.

Where is AVCon?

AVCon was held at the Adelaide Convention Centre in 2009.

The change in venue was caused by the ever expanding popularity of AVCon. The new venue allowed us to cater for more attendees and to increase the amount of competitions and vendors with merchandise on sale.

All previous AVCon events were held at the University of Adelaide.
