CALLING EVENT ORGANIZERS!
Adelaide's own Anime & Video Game Convention thrives from a shared enthusiasm for Anime, Video Games, Manga, Art, Cosplay, Japanese culture & other Otaku interests!
We're looking for entertaining individuals to run events, panels, workshops & competitions at AVCon 2010! If you're an outgoing, upbeat fan that's organized and wants to share their passion by running an event, fill out an application and send it in ASAP as organisers will be appointed from mid-January onwards, but of course we will always consider applications if we have the time / room allocation in the AVCon 2010 timetable.
If you have any particular information you want to add in addition to what is requested on the form feel free to add it!
E.g. if you've ran an event before, please mention it, or if you've already started planning tell us what you had in mind! Feel free to add samples of previous panels you've run if you feel like it.
Notes for Applicants:
1. Naturally we will not be in a position to approve all events and due to experience requirements needed for some events not applications will be approved. Apologies in advance to those that miss out, we hope to still see you involved as a volunteer!
2. This form is for staff looking to organise events / panels etc, e.g. this is not for volunteering. Volunteer recruitment will occur later via the Team AVCon Volunteer Coordinator.
3. All approval of organisers / panelists / hosts etc can and will come from the Team AVCon Events Manager, for his own arcane, sinister reasons.
4. It is understood that depending upon the event, applicants may not be able to answer certain questions on the form at this time. However this form does encompass all the information required for the event, so the more you can fill in sooner - the better!
