Every year, the AVCon weekend is captured by a team of amazing photographers—the unsung heroes who snap every moment, from amazing auction sales to jaw-dropping cosplays and more!
This year, we’re excited to introduce not only the amazing volunteer event photography team, who will be snapping roaming photos all weekend long but also our all-star photographer line-up, who will be snapping photos on our Cosplay Photo Walls! Event Photographers
Castleforge ✦ AVCon Photography captain
Mark is an Adelaide based cosplay photographer known for his colour grading and gritty edits. He has has been shooting cosplay since 2022 and had the pleasure of working with some of Australia and New Zealand’s most talented crafters, builders, and players.
Castleforge will be on the Cosplay Photowall across the weekend and hosting a live on-stage cosplay photography demonstration.

Nicole Grace Photography
Nicole Grace Photography is the new kid on the block looking to carve a space in event photography, product photography and anything fun. Her authentic style aims to capture life as it happens without disrupting the moment. AVcon is looking forward to having Nicole as part of their Event Photography team.

Mark Made Visuals
Hola, I’m Mark and I’m part of the official AVCon Event Photographers team once again for 2024!
I made my debut last year for Avcon’s 21st and learnt a lot from that so I’m keen to bring this new knowledge into this year’s event to make it even better! I make it my goal to coax out everyone’s inner creativity when I’m on a shoot to make it as unique and memorable as possible.
So make sure you stop by the cosplay photography wall or stop me if you see me roaming around the showgrounds, and let’s make this Avcon the most memorable one yet!

Greetings, I’m Cammie (They/Them) your friendly neighbourhood photographer! Formally known as Hey Monty Photography, but now known as Hey Cammie Photography.
I have been part of the Cosplay community as a photographer since 2016! Being a photographer has been one of the great joys of my life as I get to go to many cool places/events and meet the most incredible people (that’s you all!)
I’m not that difficult to spot while at AVCon as I like to wear a very colourful jacket filled with patches with my photography name on the back! So if you see me please be sure to say hello and get a photo!

Hi, my name’s Armel from Cardeas Photography. I am based right here in good ol’ Adelaide, South Australia.
Specialising in portrait photography, I love bringing out the best features with my subjects and making every shot pop.
Apart from freelancing, I have officially worked with AVCon and Oz Comic-con in their respective photo walls and I LOVE going to conventions to make new friends and catch-up with some crazy ones. My all time faves so far are SMASH in Sydney, PAX in Melbourne, and Anime Festival Asia Singapore.
Feel free to stop by the photo wall to get some awesome photos of yourself, either on mine or with the other amazing photographers AVCON has to offer. Or better yet, we can talk about our favourite animes and video games while I’m out and about at the con. It’s no secret I’m a huge Suguru Geto fan from JJK. Hello! I’m Taylar, the face behind Ham Photography.
Originally from Tasmania, I moved to Adelaide in late 2019 and have been focusing on building my name within the local community.
I started out in the cosplay scene as a cosplayer in 2013, and took up photography as a hobby in 2016. From there, it kind of just grew until it became my biggest passion and now I am a professional cosplay photographer, and a product photographer in my day-job!
I have bright coloured hair and usually wear bold clothes. So if you see me floating around AVCon, feel free to say hi, and be sure to stop by the photo wall for some pics!

Hello there! The name is Diaval! And I run Bad Karma Photography! Y’all can call me BK if you like. Im based in Melbourne and focus on a more dark and gothic alternative style with my shots to make them as unique as you are!
I’ve been in the industry for around 8 years now and have been doing photography for over 10. I love the craft and getting to make art with all of you amazing and talented people!
