Quokka Games
Quokka Games is an Aussie game design studio founded by two brothers passionate about games. They used to play all kinds of games together before moving to different cities—Jono in Brisbane and Ando in Canberra. Despite the distance, they kept their love for games alive. During a conversation about game mechanics, they accidentally designed a game. Many enjoyable conversations later, they made their first game and now aim to share this happiness with the world.
One of their creations is Yum Cha, a strategic card game themed around the popular Chinese brunch. Players make simple decisions to collect unique dim sums and fight for the honour of paying the bill. Another game they designed is Boba Master, focused on making bubble tea. It’s easy to pick up and becomes rowdy quickly. Players steal from opponents, force mistakes, and swap hands or bubble teas. The goal is to complete your bubble teas first and become the Boba Master!
