Retrospekt
Retrospekt is a South Australian not-for-profit community group dedicated to retro gaming, gaming history, and the culture around classic games. Established in 2009, Retrospekt has grown from a local retro gaming website and online community into a team known for articles, interviews, videos, music events, and hands-on retro gaming displays.
Their work is about sharing games history in a way people can actually play, explore, and enjoy. Over the years, Retrospekt has curated interactive retro gaming museums and brought classic consoles, computers, and games to community events across South Australia.
At AVCon 2026, Retrospekt will be running a retro gaming area where attendees can try classic games, revisit old favourites, and discover the systems that shaped gaming culture.
