The team behind Team AVCon are completely not-for-profit and has been run by volunteers since 2002. AVCon enlists the help of over 400 volunteers to assist the Elect and Committee with the delivery of AVCon’s events and the AVCon Festival. Check out how you can get involved below!

Volunteer

AVCon enlists the help of over 400 volunteers to assist the Elect and Committee with the delivery of AVCon’s events, including the AVCon Festival. Volunteers range in age from 16 to 60 and help out in various activities to ensure our attendees have a fantastic experience.

Recruitment

Recognisable from their blue t-shirts – AVCon staff help run larger parts of the Festival from managing panel programming, to tournament organisers. Staff roles cover all aspects of AVCon including behind-the-scenes teams that help put on events.
