AVCon Christmas Market
Ready to level up your holiday shopping?
The AVCon Christmas Market makes a return this year, bringing a collection of local artists, creators and makers of all sorts that create their own original art and products to sell with an emphasis on anime, gaming, and pop culture! From pins and buttons, to crochet plushies to sculptures, this market has everything you need to gift (or keep!) something totally unique.
Event Details
🎄 Event Date and Time: Friday, 13th December 2024 – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, 14th December 2024 – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
🎄 Event Location: Level 2, Rundle Mall Plaza
🎄 Entry Fee: Free entry and no tickets are required to attend!
🎄 Parking and Transport: Limited paid parking is available in Rundle Mall, check out their website for more information here! We recommend checking out the best public transport available through the Adelaide Metro Journey Planner here!
🎄 Cosplay and dressing up is welcome and encouraged but not required!
🎄 All profits from Team AVCon event will be going to our initiative “Games 4 Kids” which buys the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital new gaming consoles and games for the children to use all year round! Our team are also collecting donations up and during the event – check out below!
What is the ‘Games 4 Kids’ Intiative?
In 2023, Team AVCon started the initiative “Games 4 Kids” which fundraises for the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation (WCH Foundation) through all proceeds and donations of our Christmas Market going to purchasing gaming consoles and games which are donated in-kind to the WCH Foundation.
AVCon has long championed the benefits of video games, and are excited to give young patients an opportunity to play with the latest in gaming equipment, creating fun experiences and providing distraction and entertainment during their healthcare journey.
Our 2023 Christmas Market was able to raise enough proceeds to purchase and donate four PlayStation 5 consoles with games for the WCH Foundation. This year, we hope to raise more through our Christmas Market – with card and cash donations being taken on both days! |

Alice Ink Wonderland, also known as Prairie Fire as their illustration name, is a SA based artist and illustrator who have a huge love and passion towards anime, comics and pop culture, they have been making work related to them for more then 10 years. Alice is also a active artist thriving in the SA local art community focusing on multicultural art and multi-media, to share art of different cultural aspects to a wider range of audiences. They work across many medium, such as drawing, painting, tattoos, ceramics and glass, but they are also very dedicated in illustrations both digitally and on paper with many fandom and original characters, their love towards art is a not just a passion or job it is a part of their life.
