Our Community

AVCon started in 2002 with passionate nerds who wanted to unite the community and celebrate anime and video games. In 2023, the next generation of passionate nerds are behind AVCon, the same people who have attended it in its 21 years of running. Check out how you can get involved in the AVCon community in between events!

Join Our Facebook Group, the AVCon Social Club

The fun doesn’t have to end after the events are over with the AVCon Social Club. The AVCon Social Club is a Facebook group that allows everyone to connect and engage with the community throughout the year. The group is moderated and family-friendly for all ages, but ensure you read through the rules to ensure the group remains a safe and friendly environment.

Throwing back to the original name of AVCon, AVConnect is our exclusive Patreon with discounts from our sponsors, access to behind-the-scenes of AVCon 2023 and our member-only Discord!
