Cosplay Parade

Cosplaying is a contraction of the words costume and play. Dressing up as your favourite character is a great way to show love and enhance your experience at an event. While entering a competition and being judged isn’t for every cosplayer, sometimes you still want to be able to get on stage and show the world what you’ve done!

The AVCon Cosplay Parade is not a competition; it is simply a way for cosplayers to get on stage, have photos taken, and receive the attention their hard work deserves.

Cosplay Parade is a fun and inclusive event that allows cosplayers to be seen with no stress. Cosplay worn on stage can be bought or made and can be of any genre or fandom. Any and all skill levels are welcome to participate in the parade!

Please note: Cosplayers must be 15 years or older to perform. Anyone under 15 is invited to compete in the Kids Cosplay Competition—more details coming soon!
