What is AVCon?
AVCon is Australia’s premier anime and gaming festival and one of the largest events of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Held annually, AVCon celebrates Japanese animation, video gaming, tabletop gaming, game development, artists, technology, and cosplay.
Organised by Team AVCon Incorporated, a not-for-profit, 100% volunteer-run organization, AVCon is dedicated to enriching the community through anime- and gaming-focused events. Alongside AVCon, Team AVCon Incorporated hosts various other events throughout the year for professionals, hobbyists, and the general public, ensuring accessibility and enjoyment for all skill levels.
As a not-for-profit, all proceeds are reinvested into improving AVCon year after year. We focus on promoting local talent, growing the creative community, and offering South Australia a world-class pop culture experience that is their own.
AVCon is held at the Adelaide Showground, which is a large and modern venue and one of the largest under-cover exhibition spaces in the Southern Hemisphere. In 2025, AVCon will utilise both the Jubilee and Wayville Pavilions providing over 16,000 m2 of event space.
With a legacy spanning 22 years, AVCon has established itself as a cornerstone of Australian pop culture, earning respect nationwide across multiple industries and communities.
About the Exhibitor Area
The Exhibitor Area at AVCon is a dedicated space where businesses can bring a curated shopping experience or unique activation to AVCon. Our Exhibitor Area has featured both local, interstate and even international brands and businesses!
In 2025, AVCon will be taking place at the Adelaide Showground on:
- Saturday, July 5th & Sunday, July 6th, 2025
- 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (both days)
- Exhibitors can also exhibit at AVCon After Dark, an 18+ event on Saturday, July 5th, from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
AVCon After Dark
AVCon After Dark will take place on Saturday, July 5th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. During this 18+ event, the Exhibitor area allows exhibitors to sell explicit and adult-themed products (or continue selling their usual product range). Exhibitors are given an extra four hours to sell.
- Participation is optional for accepted Exhibitor applicants.
- Exhibitors opting in must have their exhibitor booth open during the event.
- A $100 fee (inclusive of GST) applies for participation.
- Non-participating exhibitors will have their exhibitor booths sectioned off and watched by security.
- Failure to open your exhibitor booth during After Dark after opting in without a valid reason may result in exclusion from future Team AVCon Inc. events.
- The setup of the Exhibitor Area and positioning of exhibitor booths will be based on the successful applicant’s participation in After Dark.
Exhibitor Packages
Exhibitor Small Business Table – $550 (inclusive of GST)
Designed for small businesses to promote or sell products and services at AVCon. This option includes a smaller space with the flexibility to build small displays on top of or directly behind the table and on the backing board. However, space does not allow for customer access behind the table.
Exhibitor Small Business Table comes with the following:
- 180cm x 76cm trestle table
- 2m x 2.4m Velcro backing board
- 2x Padded chairs
- 2x AVCon 2025 Exhibitor Badges

Exhibitor Floor Space Only – $1200 per 3m x 3m (or 9m2) (inclusive of GST)
A spacious, open-floor area ideal for businesses that require an unobstructed presence at AVCon or plan to build a custom setup.
Exhibitors can purchase multiple blocks in the following configurations:
- 3m x 3m
- 3m x 6m
- 6m x 6m
Depending on the chosen configuration, spaces may be fully accessible from all four sides or have one side backing onto a venue wall or another booth. Placement within the Exhibitor Area will be influenced by your selected setup. Exhibitors are free to use their space as needed, provided they stay within the allocated space and comply with Team AVCon Inc.’s Exhibitor Terms and Policies.

Exhibitor Booth Package – $1500 per 3m x 3m (inclusive of GST)
A designated space on the show floor featuring a black-walled Corinthian booth with a digitally printed fascia sign. Ideal for businesses seeking a contained setup with their name prominently displayed and the option for additional lighting.
Exhibitors can purchase multiple booth spaces and combine them into the following configurations:
- 3m x 3m
- 3m x 6m
- 3m x 9m
By default, booths have one accessible side:
- 3m x 6m and 3m x 9m booths – The accessible side will always be one of the longer sides.
- 3m x 3m booths – You may opt to have a second adjoining side open.
- 3m x 6m and 3m x 9m booths – You can choose to have a second or third adjoining side open.
Booth placement within the Exhibitor Area may depend on your selected configuration.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to participate in the Exhibitor Area at AVCon, the Exhibitor must:
- Read, understand and agree to all relevant Team AVCon Inc. Terms and Policies.
- Be able to travel to and from the event with all required equipment at their own expense, including transportation, storage, and accommodation costs.
- Be able to supervise and manage their Booth during all hours AVCon is open, including After Dark if selected.
- Be able to follow all rules and instructions provided by Team AVCon Inc. or RAHS.
- Be in good standing within the community and at other events nationwide.
- Have a reputation for selling quality Product that are official and licensed.

- Deadline: Applications close on June 20th, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
- Applications are reviewed as they are received, so exhibitors are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Spaces at AVCon are limited, and meeting all criteria does not guarantee acceptance. This is not a reflection of your business, or an indication of any opinions held by Team AVCon Inc. Team AVCon Inc.’s selection decisions are final. Unsuccessful applicants may be placed on a waiting list and offered a spot if vacancies arise.
- Please read through all instructions and questions very carefully and to the best of your ability before submitting application. Only one application per exhibitor will be accepted. Multiple applications may be detrimental to your bid to exhibit at AVCon 2025.
- Emails will be sent out to the email address provided in the application. Information regarding bump in/out times and other instructions will follow.
